Trevor Burch
Actor / Martial Arts Tricker / Creative
Trevor Burch is a non-union actor and creative based out of New Haven, Connecticut. He studied Theater and Performance at SUNY Purchase College for two and half years, and then finished out his Theater and Performance BA degree at Southern Connecticut State University. His actor training includes classical Shakespearean, Jacques Lecoq movement, and he takes great inspiration from Uta Hagen’s methodology in Respect for Acting and A Challenge for The Actor. But most of his acting experience comes from the journey of where his life takes him.
The past three years he has worked with Elm Shakespeare Company out of New Haven Connecticut. In the summer of 2023 and 2024 he worked as company manager and understudy in their productions of The Merry Wives of Windsor and Richard III. This past April of 2025 he acted in Elm’s workshop production of Measure for Measure in collaboration with Play On Shakespeare and Legacy Theatre. He looks forward to working with Shakespeare On The Sound this summer in their production of Macbeth (June 11th-30th) where he will be playing Witch 3, Murderer 1, and Seyton.
His acting experience has also brought him out of the classical world and into the contemporary with past productions at Seven Angels Theatre and Hole In The Wall Theatre. He danced and sang his heart out as Sam/Ensemble during the Seven Angels Theatre production of Elf: The Musical in 2023. Then was fortunate enough to be a part of the cast for the amateur premiere of Jez Butterworth’s The Ferryman produced at Hole In The Wall Theatre in April of 2025, where he played the troubled Shane Corcoran. He hopes to inspire others with his storytelling, hard work ethic, and glass half full demeanor for every production he is a part of.
